Nepalese-born Dibesh Pokharel arrived to audition, and the American Idol judges were immediately taken by his charm and humility, but the best was yet to come when he started singing Bob Dylan’s “Girl From The North Country.”
Dibesh goes by the stage name Arthur Gunn, and it has become a name the world has fallen in love with. Her very first audition song “Girl From The North Country” was like nothing you’ve heard before, but after a few pointers, he sings again, and this time there are no words to describe his beautiful version of “Have You Ever Seen The Rain.”
Arthur Gunn is one of those artists who instantly wins you over. The journey that was coming is nothing short of incredible, but these are the very first two amazing songs that kicked off his passage to the final.
From the very beginning audition seen here, the judges praised this powerful singer. Arthur Gunn’s voice is said to be one of the most unique heard on the show, with Gunn and Just Sam facing off as the top two finalists of the season.
