The judges appreciated her smooth performance exhibiting near-flawless technical ability. Katy immediately shared, “You have such an incredible gift. You can hit all the notes. I just want you to kind of take what you’ve been through all that sadness and that pain and put it in the words.” Luke Bryan shared the sentiment, telling her that she definitely has what it takes to be a star. Lionel Richie compared Aliana to a young Whitney before the panel sent her straight to Hollywood.
