Meghan Trainor’s Father Blows Away The Voice With Amazing Piano Solo

The Voice UK was off to a fantastic start for its ninth season as newcomer coach Meghan Trainor called her father onto the stage. It didn’t take too much coaxing for her aging dad to prove just how good of a pianist he is by playing ‘Shake Rattle and Roll’ originally by Bill Haley and his Comets.

Meghan’s dad Gary is a man who’ll do anything for his daughter, even perform an impromptu piano solo with the song choice arriving as the pick of no one other than Sir Tom Jones, instantly accompanying him on vocals. The other coaches were quickly caught up in the fun, singing and jiving along.

This first episode, special performance by Meghan Trainor’s father, gets the whole of The Voice UK involved. Olly Murs and Meghan are left dancing in sync as Sir Tom Jones delivers a rich lead vocal performing with drop-in lyrics from Will I Am. The whole show had the room on its feet, providing a one-of-a-kind collaboration that shouldn’t be missed.
