Regis Philbin, joined hosts Jeanne and Melissa, on ‘You And Me: This Morning!’ He was billed as their special co-host, and he had a musical treat in store for the ladies. The event was sponsored by Ravinia, who flew in the piano and the pianist. He wanted to sing a song that he likes, saying, “When I like a woman, I sing it to her.”
Regis tells the two lovely hosts to stay where they are because he is going to sing this song to them. One of the ladies asked him if he ever sang this to Kathy Lee, and he replied, “No,” eliciting a giggle from the audience.
Regis is a legend in the show business world. He holds the Guinness World Record for most hours on US television. In addition to hosting talk shows and game shows, though, Regis is an accomplished singer. The performance is sweet and leaves the ladies swooning.
After serenading the ladies with a warm rendition of, “I’ve Grown Accustomed To Her Face,” he gives them each a kiss! Regis even kisses the pianist on the back of the head. The ladies are giggling back and forth about the lipstick on his lips, as the clip ends. This is classic morning TV at it’s best. Regis, you are one-of-a-kind.
