‘You Can’t Help Falling in Love’ With This Stunning Bocelli Duet

Bocelli. Elvis. Two names of legendary musical figures. Just hearing their names tells you that you are about to listen to something that will leave you breathless, and possibly in tears. This performance of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” is done by Bocelli’s son, Matteo. His partner is the beautiful Nuska Drascek.

Bocelli cuts a dignified figure in his black tuxedo. Drascek also looks lovely in her black evening gown. These two gorgeous people command the stage. Bocelli stands tall and belts out the words flawlessly, in a way that looks effortless. Drascek smiles softly and brings her sweet voice into the mix.

Their voices are pure perfection together. Matteo’s lower octave flows well with the higher style of his partner. The band plays seductively in the background. The pair sings the song in a cave, adding an air of mystery and intimacy to their performance.

The song was initially recorded in 1961. Elvis drew inspiration from a famous French love song composed in 1784 by Jean-Paul Egide Martini called, ‘Plaisir d’amour.’ The name translates to the pleasure of love, and that is an apt description for what we witness while Bocelli and Drascek.
