Seated at the piano, sixteen-year-old schoolgirl Sapphire Tamalemai let loose one of the most incredible covers of Naughty Boy and Beyonce’s hit “Runnin’ (Lose It All)” imaginable, guaranteeing her progression in The Voice Australia and winning over fans all around the world.
The New-Zealand Australian singer won over Kelly Rowland with her combination of gifted vocals and supreme command of the piano. The young artist shared that she had been grieving for the recent loss of her father to a heart attack, but the pain did nothing but fuel her performance.
While the whole world was clearly impressed by the start of her journey on The Voice, her school Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High were quick to share their praise on social media.
