Subway singer’s ‘Unchained Melody” fills the air

Mike Yung got his start singing in the subterranean depths of the New York City subway system. Even in this less-than-ideal venue, his extraordinary talent shines through.

Mike Yung is one heck of a singer. He got his start singing in the dank and dirty subterranean recesses of the New York City subway system, where his talent shone through like a daisy pushing up through the cracked pavement.

Here, he beautifully performs ‘Unchained Melody,’ a song that the Righteous Brothers make famous. It also made an appearance in the movie Ghost, starring Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze.

What an extraordinary voice this amazingly talented man has. He later went on to perform on the show “America’s Got Talent.” On the program, he sang ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran.

The audience went wild at this memorable performance. Unfortunately, his rendition of ‘Don’t Give Up on Me’ by Solomon Burke wasn’t sufficient to move him to the finals.
